Dakota Stoneware pottery is produced by hand on a potter’s wheel. The clay and glazes are carefully selected from various natural earth elements. The ware is lead free and safe for use in modern kitchens. The ware can be used in microwaves, dishwashers, and ovens. The shape and form of the pottery is deeply rooted in early American tradition, with a few contemporary flares. The pottery is decorated with individually unique images of the prairie. Each piece is “one of a kind” with its own personality.
